About the Role
The Project Management & Research Analyst will play a key role in supporting CSEC’s mission by managing project logistics, conducting in-depth planning research, performing policy analysis, supporting community engagement, and contributing to project deliverables. This role requires critical thinking, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations that support equitable outcomes.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis: Conduct background research and policy analysis, identifying trends and recommending solutions based on best practices. Analyze data, synthesize findings, and draft comprehensive reports to support strategic recommendations.
Community Engagement Support: Assist with designing and implementing culturally responsive engagement strategies that involve and empower diverse populations, and ensure all materials and interactions are accessible.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, track milestones, coordinate logistics, and prepare materials for meetings, conference calls, and webinars. Support ongoing communication with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress.
Reporting: Develop project summaries, updates, and presentations; create visual data representations and written summaries for a wide range of audiences.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Sociology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in equity-driven research, urban development, or policy analysis.
Skills & Competencies: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a keen ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau or similar).
Personal Qualities: Solution-oriented, detail-focused, able to work both independently and as part of a team. Adaptable, flexible, and able to engage diverse audiences with integrity and professionalism.
Compensation:
Anticipated Range: $24–$30/hour. Final compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and time commitment and will be set at a flat rate.
